The consult room has several purposes. A large window into the surgery room allows you to come take a look at what’s going on behind the scenes. Everyone is always welcome to come take a peek if we have surgeries going on. You may want to come here if your own pet is going to have a procedure done and you want to be near. The window is strategically placed so that if you want to be close, but the sight of blood makes you queasy you can have a seat on the futon. It is also an ideal room for our behavioral consults. This way you can comfortably talk to our doctor about the topic at hand. Many clients also enjoy visiting their pets here if they need to stay with us for observation and critical care. Unfortunately, the consult room is also used for our close friends when euthanasia is the end result. We provide you with a quiet place to say goodbye to your pet with a door directly to the outside so that you can avoid other clients in your time of grief.
