Animal Care Clinic San Luis Obispo Veterinary Hospital
Contrary to popular belief, cats can be very social animals! It is important to teach cats proper social skills when they are young. Socialization is the act of teaching a cat how to be a confident, well-adjusted animal and a loving member of the family. Animal Care Clinic’s Kitten Kindergarten class will give you the tools to properly socialize your kitten and to set them up for a healthy and happy life.
Some topics that will be covered include:
• Appropriate play and handling
•Environmental Enrichment
•Nutrition – weight management
•Grooming – how to trim nails
•Litter box habits
•Avoiding hazards
•Feline Emergencies
Class will be taught by one of our own feline experts and Registered Veterinary Technician, Tara Pantano.
Cost: $50 for 2 classes. Include preliminary Feline Leukemia test, Kitten Play Pack, Educational packet, and exam by a Veterinarian before each class.
