This quality of medicine has come with a price tag. We know that you do not want to have to settle for less than optimal care for your pets. That is why we work so hard to provide convenient payment options for you.
Healthy Start for Puppies & Kittens
Our Healthy Start Plan (HSP) is designed to help you pay for your pets’ first year of life preventive care over time rather than all at once – without interest or service charge fees. Our basic preventive care plans include unlimited exams, vaccines, infectious disease screening and parasite screens and microchips also. The HSP allows you to split this total fee into 12 monthly installments with no interest or additional fees.
If you prefer to pay for the entire plan up front, we can do that too. You can then come in at your convenience to have the services covered by the plan, performed on the dates they are due without additional fees. It is important to note that these plans cover only the services listed in the plans; prescriptions, medical services, extra lab tests, etc. will still need to be paid for at the time services are rendered (but keep reading for strategies to help with this.)

Pet insurance
We strongly recommend Pet Health Insurance for all of our patients. We see families faced with unexpected situations that exceed their ability to pay almost every day. Pet’s who are covered by insurance are able to receive the best in medical care regardless of the extent of the illness, while those who are not covered often receive suboptimal care or sometimes even have to be euthanized.
There are many companies to choose from when buying Pet Health Insurance and our staff can help you to determine which one is best for you. We are currently recommending Trupanion Insurance. Trupanion does not cover exam fees, pre-existing illness nor preventive care, but they cover 90% of everything else without question. Your monthly premium is based on your pet’s breed and age at initial policy purchase along with the size of your deductible. A policy for a 3 year old Labrador with no deductible costs about $65/month, while a $500 deductible for the same dog costs only $38/month.

Animal Care Clinic offers payment plans through the Care Credit Company. Our 6 month plan is totally free. Any invoice at Animal Care Clinic can be put onto this plan, giving you time to pay off the balance without accruing any interest. Payment is expected at the time of services rendered. We accept cash, checks, credit cards (American Express, Master Card, Visa, Discover), Care Credit and ScratchPay.
