Here at Animal Care Clinic we recently celebrated 25 years of the highest level of veterinary excellence, accreditation by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). Accreditation requires a rigorous review of the hospital’s practice protocols, medical equipment, facility and client service. Unlike human hospitals, animal hospitals are not required to be accredited.

Accredited hospitals are the only hospitals that voluntarily choose to be evaluated on approximately 900 quality standards that go above and beyond basic state regulations, ranging from patient care and pain management to staff training and advanced diagnostic services. AAHA-accredited hospitals are recognized among the finest in the industry, and are consistently at the forefront of advanced veterinary medicine. We’re excited to be recognized among this elite group for 25 years. AAHA standards are continuously reviewed and updated to keep accredited practices on the cutting edge of veterinary excellence and we regularly are evaluated to continue accreditation.

Only the top small animal hospitals in the United States and Canada have achieved accreditation by the Association, about 15%. We’re proud to provide pet owners on California’s Central Coast consistent and expert care by our entire health care team.
