This is Bella & Lulu acting like best friends. This wasn’t always the case. About a year ago, these 2 came to Dr. Evans for a behavior consultation. Seems they were barking at visitors and on walks. They sometimes showed aggression towards other dogs and even each other! Dr. Evans immediately started working with a citronella bark collar – it squirts a very citrus smelling liquid into the face/nose of the dog if they bark. She also used a short course of an anti-anxiety medication. Over time the bad behaviors diminished and now they only wear the collars on walks. Dr. Evans has a special interest in behavior and her work can do amazing things!
