Animal Care Clinic is joining the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) in celebrating AAHA-Accredited Hospital Day on July 22. Accreditation is awarded to veterinary hospitals practicing the highest level of veterinary excellence, after a rigorous review of practice protocols, medical equipment, facility and client service. We first earned AAHA accreditation in 1993 and have consecutively held it ever since. AAHA is the only organization that accredits companion animal veterinary practices in North America and we are evaluated regularly to maintain accredited status.

Unlike human hospitals, animal hospitals are not required to be accredited. In fact, only about 15% have chosen and qualified to be AAHA accredited. We are evaluated on approximately 900 quality standards that go above and beyond basic state regulations, ranging from patient care and pain management to staff training and advanced diagnostic services. We are trained to handle your pet gently and safely, which minimizes stress during veterinary visits. We consider pain assessment and control a valuable part of your pet’s visit, which helps promote faster healing and comfort. A practice team member will be dedicated to monitoring your pet while they are under anesthesia. We help you make informed decisions about your pet’s diet. Dental procedures are performed by trained team members who follow the highest standards. AAHA standards are continuously reviewed and updated to keep accredited practices on the cutting edge of veterinary excellence and Animal Care Clinic is proud to have been selected in 2011 as one of the top 5 hospitals in North America!

Thank you for trusting us with the care of your pets!
